The Great Combe
OF BEING BOLD & INDUSTRIOUS
born this way.
I remember back in the first grade when I learned how to hoop beads into a string. I was only seven years old then. I came to school with a bag full of my home made accessories complete with price tags! Later on, I was able to sell Scrapbooks patterned after products from an expensive craft store in Manila. That, I was able to sell at least 10 items complete with personal requests. I guess this has been me, ever since. CREATE. SELL. At the ripe age of 7!
You must be asking why I'm not in the business industry after all my early childhood entrepreneurship. Here's why:
stability > passion.
That is until AFTER college. I believe that getting a degree in the medical field is the most stable path I can create for my future. This decision also came in the knowledge that business is something I can STILL do aside from my day job---especially now a days when almost everything is on the net.
Now, It's been 2 years since I graduated and had been swiftly taken away into another country. I found an opportunity to open this part of myself once again (how truly exciting this is for me!) after a long time of going back and forth on whether I should do this or not.
like pulling a rabbit out of a magician's hat.
In the beginning there was nothing---even God started with that. But how do you really create something out of thin air? Where do I start?? I'll tell you something very basic, it's dumbing: Everything is right on your fingertips! ---at least this is how it was for me. With just a few clicks and simple computations, my store was up and running!
In truth, it was never about how or when. There's always a gap between making the decision to jump and the actual jump itself. I was waiting for that que when I was willing to take a leap of faith [By the way, It came around this time 29th of March;)] and when it came, I was sure to catch it like riding a wave!
