The list im using here lists the arachnoid drones tarantulas uses as separate characters alongside this toy spider that turns into a base for the predacons i am unsure if it's supposed to be sentient or not, in my mind it is it's own scary spider

Quick question, but what makes Purple Spider a moniker? Is ut bcs women didn't have titles? Is it in the writing/ narrative/ the construction doesn't fit the title scheme?

Also, is Sandu Sengshou a monicker? Bcs 3 poisons doesn't sound all that flattering, but i know that it's a Buddhist reference

It's hard to explain... I'll try my best. Usually, names that can be translated literally are monikers. Purple title is not a nice title. Like...why do you think we spell out Hanguang-jun instead of calling him Lord Lightbearer? Because Hanguang-jun is WAY classier and less literal than Yu Ziyuan's Purple Spider. When ppl call Yu Ziyuan Purple Spider or call Wen Zhuliu Core-Melting Hand, it's not like... to respect them. It's their nickname. It's like what they're known as.

Zewu-jun, Hanguang-jun, Chifeng-zun, Liangfang-zun are titles of respect. The 'jun' or 'zun' make it so. Like if you were cussing out Lan Wangji...you're not gonna be calling him Hanguang-jun. You're gonna call him Lan Wangji, or Lan Zhan, or if you were Jiang Cheng, Lan 2.
