Today's polish is one I have so many thoughts about, as evidenced by the number of pictures I've taken. 😂😂😂 The maker describes this as a dark purple to red multichrome. I'm not a huge fan of black to red multichromes, so I hoped I'd like this more. But once on my nails, the base color looked like a brownish-black instead of purple. Most multichromes are shifter indoors and in the shade; in the sun they just look like a shimmer. For this one though the opposite was true. In direct sun, this one definitely looked more purple straight on and then shifted through purple, magenta, red, orange, and gold as I moved my hand around. 😱😍 I also found the shifts were MUCH more pronounced in my pictures - again the opposite of what I usually experience. What I saw 95% of the time, is what the polish looks like in the bottom row of pictures. Still pretty, but not as awesome as the rest of the images. So in the end I decided to try stamping it with a black polish. I thought it would look cool if the stamped design blended in while indoors and popped in the sun. And it did exactly what I wanted it to do. 😍😁 When everything is said and done I think I'm happy with this polish. If I wear it again, I will most definitely be stamping it again with a black design though. This is Dead Serious from Holo Taco.
