What are the steps to getting a final grade reappraised? I checked to see if there was a reappraisal tag and there wasn't.

The grade reappraisal tag is here, and the policy can be found here. You have to find the form pertaining to the department of the course you want regraded and fill that out.

Example: if it’s a HUMA course, then find the grade reappraisal form from the Department of Humanities (do a Google search and see if something comes up). If you can’t find the form online, then you’ll have to request one from the department.

THERES GONNA BE A CARNIVAL? omg i went on campus today to pick up books..if i new there was a carnival tomorrow i woulda gone tomorrow :'(. oh u live on res? THAT MUST BE SO MUCH FUN! I always wanted to know people on res :P have u made friends with people on ur floor? u can do that to entertain urself i guess lol or go find ur classes?:P do u have a good schedule?

I lied, the carnival isn't until saturday after a football game...  I've met some people from my building, but not really on my floor. And yeah, the plan for today is to hopefully find all my classes so I'm not completely lost when school actually starts. lol

Yeah, it's my first year and so far I'm really enjoying it. I'm excited for classes to start though; I'm quickly running out of things to do on campus because I'm not doing frosh and that's pretty much the only thing going on..but there's supposed to be a carnival tomorrow I think?

Ummm yeah go chat with ur academic advisor! :) I think they're usually in the Ross building but if u pass by the red zone (main booth in the middle of vari) they can direct u specifically to the room in that building, I would think :p

If you want to minor, you apply for it online and u either get accepted or rejected based on courses and grades and stuff :p

oh. I was kinda hoping to talk to someone face-to-face... Do you know if there would be anyone that I could go to?

i keep getting an internal error message whenever i try to log into my yorku account on my computer, but it works fine on my phone. is anyone else having this issue or can suggest what to do?

I just checked and it's working for me. Did you try refreshing your browser/emptying out your cookies ? :/ Other than that I would check back tomorrow or you might have to contact IT.

M- you've mentioned we can ask you to find textbooks if we post in the bookshare. so would u want us to just post textbooks and hope you can find them? I feel like that might get overwhelming with like lists of soo many textbooks from each person. Are u going to suggest like you'll look for 3 textbooks per person or is it unlimited?

No one is really using the book share, so you can just make a comment with all the books. There's no guarantee that I can find the books, but I usually know within 30 seconds of looking if I can get them. So just post everything :) I'll send you a message/email if I can find them or not! And hey- even if I can find one, that's pretty good savings :P
