The enemies to lovers thing is true, but I would have bet on Izuna not Madara. And Tobirama and Madara has nearly 5 times as many fics as Tobirama and Izuna.

Izuna isn’t a main character, though, and he doesn’t have a ton of personality beyond “dying” or “spiteful”, so writers have to do a lot of heavy lifting where his characterization is concerned. Madara, in contrast, appears a lot, has multiple interactions with Tobirama, and is a main character, even if he’s an antagonist. MadaTobi seems like the logical conclusion for the whole enemies to lovers thing.

yeah, that was my original plan but then I realized that I want to include the clone wars tv show in this and I would just lose the thread of the original trilogy entirely if there was that much other stuff between 5 and 6 (I’m ignoring 7 for now, haha)

thank you! it was my own fault, most websites suggested a super mild pesticide bath for new orchids and I think I left them in too long :/ maybe they’ll reroot, orchids are pretty hardy, but now I know

I agree so much about Itachi’s actions towards Sasuke. Even *if* you believed that the first time he traumatized Sasuke (directly after massacre) was because Itachi was 13 and also traumatized by what he’d just done and thus probably not making the best decisions he’s ever made, he retraumatized Sasuke at 20~ish. That’s pretty much *doubling down* on fucking up Saskue for selfish reasons. So, any understanding I had for his actions flew out the window.

I’m pretty sure he just got himself more and more messed up as he grew up, and he was so set on this one path to saving the world from Madara and dying at the hands of Sasuke to relieve the guilt that he just never even considered other options.

I’m pretty sure Ai doesn’t know how to act like a kid? like, who raised her? Black Org scientists probably. She knows how to science.

maybe he’s contractually obliged to show up once a season/every 100 episodes
