I think that the only thing that determines if you end up with a good end or a bad one is dependent of how many pay-interactions you'd unblocked. Because you can replay and change your answers as many times as you want. What do you think?

considering the devs already confirmed the paid options do not influence which ending you get, I’d say no ;)
