Nothing compares, to the way you put toothpaste on your toothbrush and brush your teeth,
Scramble those eggs and pour your tea, the way you rest your palm against your cheek as you sit in deep thought, then smile after you've made a funny in your head, the way you put your pants on one leg at a time, then step one foot in front of the other
Your blank stare, when you realize no one cares, when you jump for joy, because they were all there, when your nose is practically one with the notebook, both lips folded in, with your tongue at the corner as you jot down ideas before they're gone in the wind
The way you say nothing, but tell me everything will be alright
I know, I know
I don't know a thing
But nothing gave me something that feels like everything.
The thoughts of courting Flowers blooming in the middle of the coldest winter Fertile soil and living water An abundance of fresh dances Soul warming glances Snow flakes melting on tongues Crystallized memories contained Radiating Arcane symphonies White sand between my toes Cloud 9 rhythm & blues As I look down into the clear Sky blue waves reflecting the harmonic melodies that coat Our insane sanity
If i kill myself, I’ll miss Friday. Life has no more chances to do right by me, the wrinkles will never come. If I kill myself, the sun will rise again with a tangy burst, and I will lay, unknowingly, behind its horizon. The sickly sweetness of a summer high, maybe a next and new love, will be lost in the clumpy gashes left of eyelashes. my breath will hitch and fumble inside me until the quiet announcement of a show over. and yet I think of next tides come, I may have a drink and laugh till my belly hurts. Could it be worth it, to not miss Friday? Could I lay sweet again?

At the end of this, I will make something to live for.
