Would you date him again if things changed or got better? Or do you think hes too set in his ways.
if it was the prior? of course. honestly it takes a lot of strength and self reflection to be able to analyze yourself and admit that you were wrong. i’d give anyone who is able to do that more than a second chance. nobody is infallible. people lash out out of fear among other things, and if a person can look back at their actions and realize that they could have done better, then it’s certainly something to reconsider deeply. but i think they’ve shown fairly clearly that they had no interest in doing that and were set in their way of not seeing it (and apparently it was a recurring issue), so, unfortunately, it’s the latter. i mean maybe in the future he’ll come to learn but i’m certainly not gonna be the one to sit around and take it while he figures it out and by then I’d be long done and over this. i can’t respect or be around someone like that. especially when they try to justify the thing they did as a good thing when it was kind of shitty.
