How many times has my poor man Phoenix looked at Neo but saw Achilles?
Saw his anger and revenge, saw the grief that was too big to be dealt with by just one heart? Phoenix was the only one who saw both young Achilles and young Neoptolemus and he could do nothing but see Neo’s father in him.
Bacause they choose the same poses and share the same confused look directed towards the gorichont. If Phoenix had a chance, he would say, that they have the same smile, but he never saw Neo smiling.
And Phoenix feels bad for his child and he wants to tell him that he doesn’t have to repeat his father’s fate, wants to stop watch over his copper-burning strands and see someone else’s fair curls. But he can’t.
