#Repost @bluecollardreams ・・・ This picture contains 51 cedar soap trays that are in progress. There were 52 when the last passes on the router table started. The missing soap tray caught on the bit and and went flying. I believe this was because my hand was just behind the balance point and I didn't realize it. I say that because when it caught, the tray broke into two pieces that went flying across the shop. ' ' As such, my hand and the @microjig GRR-RIPPER push block that was protecting it went straight down onto the router table surface. Luckily, I had the block set up to straddle the bit, so it didn't contact the spinning bit. ' ' I use this push block every time I use the router table and these cases are the reason for that practice. Stay focused, stay safe and use a push block when doing any operation that puts your hands over or near the bit. #worksafer #worksmarter #microjig #grrripper #pushblock

#Repost @walkersrusticwoodworks ・・・ Just trying out the GRR-RIPPER from @microjig a little bit. Two words... it's awesome! I used it to rip some boards for a table top, then messed around cutting smaller strips. Holds the wood really well, makes ripping small strips safe and is super durable. It is built well and has great instructions. Even comes with a DVD with different techniques. Very pleased with it. If you're in the market for a new pushblock this one is the top of the line in my opinion. Thank you again @microjig for sending me one to try out.
