1. Favourite setting for a story and why?
Ohhhh man...it might have to be a desert w/ an oasis kind of setting? Something involving dry, hot deserts, with ancient secrets and treasures buried in the sand or out on the dunes...mysteries to solve and adventures to be had in the hot hot sun ヽ(´ ∇｀○)ﾉ.+ﾟ*｡:ﾟ+
Alternately, I also adore stories that are heavily based in/on/around the sea. But by the sea there’s often a lot of sand, right? And then we’re heading back to my sandy desert image...I can never seem to get enough of that. Chalk it up to my old obsession with ancient Egypt, I guess?
2. One life goal that you decided to let go, if any?
It’s difficult to think of one since I’ve actually remained pretty faithful/committed to my original goals/dreams throughout my life...
I guess....doing any sort of performance career? I used to really enjoy doing comedy skits and acting and giving passionate speeches and at one point wanted to make a band...but middle school really destroyed any good feelings I had about performing in front of people.
I still kind of hold a flame for voice acting but it’s a weak one. I still feel kinda conflicted about it sometimes but overall I’d say I’ve let those dreams go...
3. Choose between: forward in time, turn back time.
Agh...this is a really difficult question....
...if I went back in time, would I remember everything that I know now? or would it just be like reliving everything that I’ve already lived through in the exact same way, with no changes?
....if it was just reliving and not remembering the present, I’d turn back time. I’d go back to being little and enjoy my childhood again
unless you mean I’m time-traveling and young me and my life and younger everyone else would still exist while current me would be going back in time?!?
Then...crap...I guess I’d go forward? Even though I like nostalgia and all sorts of old things, there’d be too many frustrating/infuriating things for me to enjoy myself much probably :P
4. How many meals do you eat a day?
Lately it’s two (breakfast and lunch/dinner) w/ snacks here and there
5. Favourite character from your childhood?
Oh man....childhood..??? WHAT PART OF CHILDHOO- um well let’s see. It’s so hard to pick one fav uargh. I’ll try listing animated charas I remember loving a lot/being inspired by. I really loved Bubbles, Ariel, Mulan, Aladdin, Jasmine, Odette, Kida, Anastasia, Crysta, Juna, San, Ashitaka, Nausicaa, Kiki (and Jiji), Rikki, Yugi, Yami Yugi, Seto, Joey, Danny...I’m worried I forgot someone important dammit...
6. Are you shy when meeting people for the first time? I need to know this.
Ahaha *scratches back of head* it depends on the circumstances. If my mood is good and I’m feeling comfortable/confident and you respond when I try to start a convo, then not really. Maybe a little bit. I definitely won’t be shy if you’ve pissed me off or caught me in a bad mood. But if you seem too cool/intimidating or I’m feeling a little awkward or I can’t think of something to say or I don’t know anyone in the room but you or smth like that then yeah I guess

8. One skill that you wish you had?
um.......idk how to phrase it exactly as a skill but...I wish I was really good at gymnastics

10. Oh god I hate making up questions…ask yourself a question and answer it. The first thing that comes to mind.
Q: So, (crosses legs, rests elbow on leg) Maddy-san, are the rumors true? Did you really manage to stay within the final five players in the school socco tournament three years in a row?
A: (laughs) oh, that old thing? Yes, the rumors are true. I was excellent at dodging and passing, so I’d always survive up into the final five. One time the opposing team was targeting me, so everyone was continuously throwing the ball at me in this ridiculous loop- the opposing team got so good at passing it/throwing it at me that it “looked like the ball was just flying behind me”- at least, that’s what one of my teammates said afterwards. It went on for like three minutes straight but eventually the damn thing hit me in the ankle and I almost tripped over it so I had to stop. Our team won first place and a pizza party every year tho (smugly takes sip of capri sun).
Q: Ah....I see. (clears throat) Very interesting.
A: Yeah, it was fun. But I still liked dodgeball better than socco-
