Why is our men killing each other?

I haven't blog in a while sorry.. been busy

By now most of my readers know that I am from Buffalo New York.. Buffalo is a small city where people are suppose a city of good neighbors, And it is a city of good neighbors sometime but not all the time. We got city officials that say there are jobs here and they are trying to find ways to stop poverty and the homicides . The truth is they are not trying find ways to stop because they are gentrifying the city with market rate apt that start as $1500 a month and saying Buffalo is on the move.

Our men is simply killing each other because there is no real jobs or beef from when they was younger. It has been also close 24 shootings in just this year and every year the numbers go up and up in my city . We woman are left to raise our grand kids, nieces and nephews because now our men is dead and our children is fatherless . Some times I wonder do these men can see the long tern affect these senseless murders have on a children as they grow up and then history is force to repeat itself again because no body value life anymore or think long term about people friends and family and emotional pain to begin to understand why he lying out in street dead for hours by somebody and then somebody get the person who just killed someone and their lying in the street dead only for their mothers, wives , girlfriend to see the crime scene screaming and crying because they didn't have a chance to say their last good bye and I love you

At what point do it take for the men to see that woman in our community need you live and yes to being a better father, husband , boyfriend , provider and to put down the gun for your children, family, mother's sake .

I would love to hear your input of why you think our men is killing each other and what ways can do stop the next generation from killing each other .. I will keep writing on this topic because it something we need to talk about
