Can you spare some change? Pt. 2
On Monday we talked about the need to create room in our lives for those inevitable changes that we will face. But I think sparing change is not just about making room for change in your life, but learning how to be the change. How do you allow God to use you to be the change? What’s that problem that keeps bothering you, just itching for your perfect solution. Whose that person that’s just waiting for your influential guidance as they travail through a circumstance you dealt with last year. What’s the picture that you have been privileged to see while everyone else has a dimmer, incomplete view? Your answer to those questions, my friend, is the beginning of your application as a change agent. Trust me, you don't have to work for Marvel to make a difference in this world. Simply by being who you are in Christ, you hold a power to create change wherever you go.
As I’ve mentioned before, it was my desire to be a change agent in the lives of high school girls that motivated me to start Spark Change. I love finding creative ways to shake up their mindsets and change their perspectives on some of the most important areas of their lives. Whether it’s working one-on-one or standing in front of a group, I am passionate about using my life experiences and gifts from God to fulfill my job as an agent of change.
So, back to your application. As thoughts are beginning to spark in your own mind of how you desire to be an agent of change, what actions will you take? What difference will you make in the lives of those around you starting today? There are lives just waiting in anticipation for you to show up! So don’t wait another minute. Let’s put on our capes of wisdom, courage, and passion, because we’ve got work to do.
With love from the ONE up above,
