How do you feel about the "Two Worlds" change in Sonic's game continuity? I don't like it. Causes more problems than it solves. Especially When it comes to Shadow. Almost feels like taking humans out of the picture makes Shadow empty. Like 2 if not 3 whole character arcs focused either entirely on how humans saw him or treated him/someone he cared about, or exploited his power. Also apparently money doesn't exist in Sonic's world? I could rant forever but character count is limited.
Has it actually changed, though? As far as I'm concerned, both Earth and 'Sonic's World' have been the same place. It's only in Sonic X that the whole Two Worlds thing came up, and they did try to pass it off as 'canon'... But Adventure and Adventure 2, as well as Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and 06 - Unleashed showed that the cast live on Earth.
Also, I've found no offical confirmation that SEGA has said that there's 'no money'. And no, Tyson Hesse and Ian Flynn do not count as 'official information'.
