Hey all! Sorry about the delay! Figuring out how I wanted to draw this page during this difficult time was very...well, difficult. The one good thing going on in life right now is making progress on this thing, so there’s that! Expecting a release sometime this week!

Sorry folks! It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I should’ve planned better. New training regimen, new sleep cycle, new job incoming, State Fair and other spontaneous activities, etc. However, the page is almost finished being colored and then it’s off for shading, special effects and text. I’m going to shoot for Wednesday night at the latest. Tonight, though, I’m taking a break.
Thank you all so much for your support so far! I’m putting these pages out every two weeks and lately they’ve been releasing on Monday nights. In the meantime, I’ll post a screenshot of what I was working on just a couple of hours ago. Cheers!
Putty Comix is Back!
Sorry about the hiatus! Progress was ground to a halt when I had some personal stuff going on, as well as being frustrated with digital drawing. I decided to do the rest of #3 and the rest of the series by hand, with some digital manipulation. It’s not so much that drawing digitally is difficult as it is having to boot up my computer every time and having to stare at a brightly lit screen. I would rather just as much as I can by hand. Phew. That was the easy stuff to talk about. Now the rest...oh boy...
To be honest, most of the personal stuff comes from me being too invested in Internet drama. I mean, at the end of the day, that’s all it is. Internet. Drama. As much as I admire the people who disseminate regressive lunacy like The Amazing Atheist, MundaneMatt, and Sargon Of Akkad, being TOO invested has kept me away from enjoying things like reading comics and making comics. I’ve got caught up in all of this stuff and it’s put a strain on just about every area of my life. It’s a lot like when Gamergate happened and I was initially anti-gg. I ate up just about everything by FemFreq, Brianna Wu and Zoe Quinn—but being invested in them had put a strain on everything. Though I will say those anti-gg people are bought and sold on the regressive lunacy shit. What got me out of the anti-gg camp was seeing the stuff Jonathan “FullMcIntosh” McIntosh tweets about. He has zero concept of reality. He’s more deluded than Jack Thompson, which is a quite a fucking impressive feat, really. ALL of these SJW-type of people are fucking batty, but I only hear about it on the Internet and not the 5 o’clock news.
Which is why I’m tapping out. It’s Internet drama. I don’t care. I don’t need it. Just out of sheer morbid curiosity I’ll tune in and see what shitstorm is going on at the moment, but I’m done eating this shit up for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If y’all want my thoughts, all you’ve gotta do is ask. But as far as making a big stink on the Internet about whatever dumb video Anita makes? I won’t be giving a shit because to make a big deal out of an SJW’s stupid crusade...well, that would make me just a different kind of nutty keyboard warrior. :3
