A Hawaii Amakihi browsing through Mamane flowers :). A couple years back I was working as a bioacoustic intern and was recording wild Palila vocalizations in the field. Most of the time when I was searching for Palila I would often see Amakihi flitting about the mamane-nail dry forest strands.
