Sinfonía de las forjas / The Forges' Symphony

Seriously, this song is just PERFECT for Spain. I love how it combines the sound of metal, and those of a forge with those of a church’s bell. Can you get any more Spanish than that? Spain literally means “island/land where metals are forged” or “land of the metalsmiths”, and it was well known for its weapons and steel. Spain’s history and identity was forged in the Christian Catholic religion. Then it adds the guitar and the castanets, with warm and traditional sounds, and ends with the sound of drums of war. God, this is so good. Not a master piece, of course, but it encompasses so well the Spanish Medieval and Modern Age sentiment and identity from a modern show-oriented perspective. Puy du Fou did such a great job, as usual.
