Just incase anyone was wondering, the last thing Evbo said to Teddy (his guard friend) was:
"We actually do need you to become to Eternal Shield. But, I already talked with Clownpierce and once you get the Eternal Shield, you'll be fine!"
Apparently his name is not raymond
(Tumblr why is the quality so ass)
Teddy from PvP Civilization / Parkour Civilization
PVPCiv S1 is a tragedy because it was always going to end that way.
It's foretold from the very beginning. Too many loose ends were always going to lead to that cell in the Iron Sword level. To Evbo, being farmed again and again to the point of torture for the slimmest chance at progress, fighting for people who don't care about him as much as he cares about them. People who, it turns out, are all mortal enemies to each other outside of their sword aliases. People who only truly team team together to keep Evbo caged, in order to give themselves a semblance of freedom. And when he finally escapes, the entire sequence at the Diamond Swod level is steeped with a betrayal that the audience knows is far overdue. The tension rises against all hope until it's just Evbo and Tabi, at the edge of the sword civilization, him begging in equal parts for her to care and not care. To end him just to prove that he means nothing to her. Because this was always her goal, and he was always going to help her accomplish it. It's just the kinds of people they are.
PVPCiv S2, on the other hand, is a tragedy because it didn't have to end that way.
So many battles were fought between different nations that were, again, only willing to trust each other with a common enemy in the mix. So many opportunities for peace slip out of Evbo's grasp as everything that could go wrong, does. Due to Parrot's fear of persecution, he's captured and Zam is set free, and then he's caught in a battle with the bows for the majority of the season. Teddy is too isolated to help with anything, which only happens because Evbo doesn't go back for him in the Bow Civilization. Later, he chooses freely to go along with his own sacrifice in the name of a noble cause. Evbo is too far away from the only people that he can call friends for most of the season, since they refuse to go with him or take up immortality thanks to Ferre. Even Clown, the mastermind whose scheme works to perfection, had so many possibilities with his wish after everything came together for him. Only for him to condemn Evbo to the same torture he faced long ago. And he doesn't have to go along with it, but he chooses to. He is simultaneously the savior and the barn animal, after all, now willing to give all of himself to those who want him dead because it helps them more than it hurts him. Tabi has a similar choice, the ability to run and not help prolong the cycle of suffering that may yet be endless, but she won't just leave Evbo there to take the world on by himself. It could have ended in so many other ways, but these characters all conscuously chose for it to end the way it did.
It's just the kinds of people they are.
