I was once in the same kind of position as pxr except I had someone who stood up for me and encouraged me not to stay silent to appease the validity of others.  In fact, pxr got subjected to far worse cruelty and is much younger than I was, on top of not having someone there to stand up for her.

I don’t give a damn if she decides to take interest in radical feminism.  She has no political obligation on account of having been bullied.  I just hope she doesn’t come to internalize the awful things she was told.  I hope she realizes that she was being gaslit.  I hope she refuses to accept having to deny her lived female experiences or open up her dating pool to people she’s not interested in.

Most importantly, I hope she’ll be okay.

I know she’s old news but it’s very telling how she adds “terfs dni” and yet...doesn’t block the ones who reblog her things calling her a powerful womyn. Or those who are agreeing that she was right to be transmisogynistic. Typical.

i feel.... so incredibly bad and absolutely sad about a young lesbian being harassed for saying something that is true and for having her own sexuality. the fact that she apologized over and over to these people and nothing was good enough is sickening. i truly hope she does not think she needs to be attracted to dick or attempts to get over it and change her sexuality through a self conversion. that is something horrible in itself. you should never feel the need to convert your sexuality because of someone else's "feelings".

this just proves the homophobia still being a rampant problem. it proves that the trans community and namely trans women are narcissistic abusive people who don't deserve a cent of dignity. it just proves that lesbians are considered "terfs" and transphobic just for their sexuality.

i am glad she is off of tumblr -- not glad how it went because that should never fucking happen. it's nothing something anyone should go through. and i hope these nasty little shits understand the harm they did eventually over time and change otherwise they're just doomed. hopefully she can just live her life as a lesbian and not think she needs to include males into her life just because of all of these abusive people that screamed at her.

do you think jotaro put himself in danger often in part 4 because after having jolyne he's become more protective of other children?

i think that’s certainly part of it but i also. god i have a really hard time putting this into words but i can try now that half my cognitive ability isn’t drugged out of me

he always had a little bit of a reckless streak even as a teenager but it also always seemed to me that previously it had been more rooted in confidence in his own ability to come out on top in a given altercation. i.e. jumping into the water after anne or betting everyone’s soul on unknown cards vs. d’arby because he had a wild and apparently justified level of confidence in his ability to bluff. 

but in part 4 he seems way more compelled to throw himself in front of things that are definitely and unquestionably going to do severe physical damage such as the fucking. flesh melting drone rat and a Literal Bomb & you could certainly argue that the difference lies in him now knowing he has josuke around to likely put things back/reduce the chance of his life actually ending as a result of these altercations (although the bomb one is questionable, he had no way of knowing if the explosion was gonna kill him before josuke even found out where they were imo) 

i do absolutely think crazy diamond is a factor because i think jotaro does feel invested in keeping himself alive, not necessarily because he wants to be but because he thinks he’s too important in the context of protecting others but that’s a whole other depressing diatribe. so i think the fact that taking these hits and knowing he’s likelier to survive probably makes him more willing than he might be otherwise as you’d expect

however. i find it incredibly difficult not to see a connection between this man having witnessed multiple close friends die violently at age seventeen and developing a much more pronounced tendency towards enduring more and more pain and injury in order to prevent others from doing so, particularly given that the two instances i’m thinking of were teenagers (josuke and koichi) and i imagine he feels some type of way about teens being subjected to that sort of thing and i am choosing NOT to get into how he probably felt seeing koichi, a teenager around the same age as kakyoin, get punched through the chest while wearing the exact same school uniform kakyoin had been wearing at the time even after he took the bomb hit for him because it isn’t even 9 am yet and i will not go ham
