That name alone strike bring fear in many peoples bodies. Y/N however? It would bring love to hers, even if she struggled to express it; she is quite shy after all.
Despite him being an undead assassin, she still loved him.
Who would have thought that one quiet and extremely shy girl could fall in love with a bold, intimidating man who would fall for her too?
They had an interesting relationship. She would be extremely awkward, blushing while nervously playing with her fingers whenever he was remotely nice to her and he would just chuckle with the deep voice that made her blush even more.
However, if somebody flirted with her and she got awkward or made her uncomfortable, they would immediately be added to the top of his list. He would never be angry at her; it wasn’t her fault she was shy after all.
Why did I mention that?
Well, that is the exact scenario happening right now.
Pyke was hidden, watching as a fisherman who was already on his list flirt with his girl. This sparked rage inside his body as he watched her nervously play with her fingers, twiddling them as she looked at the ground, an uncomfortable expression on her face.
Pyke knew that she was too shy to say anything, but this didn’t make him any less upset. Not at her though. No, he could never be upset with her; he loved her shyness, it made her her and he found it adorable.
He sunk back below the waters, sickened at the sight and went to move the name that was already on his list to the top.
He waited until night time, lurking between the shadows of the docks as he watched the man pack up, ready to head home, Y/N probably still on his mind. Just the mere thought of his vile mind thinking of his precious love sickened him to the core. Once he saw the light of his boat switch off, it was his time to strike.

The following morning, Y/N went down to the docks as usual, but she didn’t see any sign of the man from yesterday who she was nervous about seeing again.
She reached where she would usually meet Pyke who was already there, a slight smile on his face.
“Did you do something?” She asked nervously twiddling her thumbs, deep down already knowing the answer.
