Claquesous slammed his drink down on the bar and looked straight at the drunk next to him. “You know what? I really fucking hate cats.”
"How can you say that?" He replied, sipping his drink.
He finally looked up to meet his eyes. “I am a man, not a god. I don’t want to be placed on a pedestal.”
R's heart sank a little in its drunken haze, but he'd not let it show. "Why not?"
Enjolras sighed. “It is ill-fitting.”
"What, mon ami?" He grinned, pouring out his absinthe to taste. "It's a fairly common way to address friends, Apollo...why would I not call you it?"
Enjolras rolled his eyes. “You know very well I mean ‘Apollo.’”
"Oh, bonjour, mon amiiiiiiiiii...." He smiled, having a drink as he watched the other ready the room. "What plays on the mind of Apollo today?"
Enjolras remained stoic, not even bothering to glance behind him to look at Grantaire. “What have I said about calling me that?”
"Anonymous, I know that was most certainly /not/ the case for me joining the cause. It's rather just a perk." R smiled widely.
“Can we even consider you part of the cause when most of your time is spent sitting in the back with a bottle of wine and drunkenly rambling?”
