Angel’s demon form during the Pylea arc redesign because I couldn’t stand it. I did a couple of designs as I was developing it and I ended up liking the middle one the most. I wanted to make him look more vampire-ish while still demony so that’s why he looks like the uber-vamps from season 7 and The Master from season 1. Also took some inspo from yokai like oni and gaki (I like the concept of vampires being representative of greed/lust and the idea that there’s never enough to fill them up.) also shoutout to the vampires from the Magnus Archives, I was thinking of them.

I just watched the Angel Season 2 finale again and i thought it was sweet how Angel tried to encourage Lorne to talk to his mother to mend their relationship even though it didn't work out. It really is the little moments that make me love the guy.
