head canon where otabek is away working at the club and yuri is at home with their 8-year-old daughter raven who suddenly enters yuri’s bedroom screaming “daddyyy!!” And yuri almost pasts out thinking something happened to her precious girl, it happens that a giant moth has entered her bedroom so she asks daddy yuri to kill it and yuri is like damn I hate those things but he tries to be a good parent and goes inside to check what’s up, however when he sees the size of the moth he is like omg no let’s wait for daddy otabek to come back home, and so otabek comes back and finds yuri and raven in a pillow fortress and he is like what’s up why isn’t she sleeping yet and so yuri tells otabek the problem so otabek goes inside her room and omg the moth is so big he is like “yuri I need your help this is a two-man job” and yuri is reluctant but he goes in anyway, however, raven just listens to a scream and things falling down and then she sees her two dads coming out as if they’ve just been through war so her eyes get watery thinking the moth will live forever in her room and her dads are just so guilty and look at each other like “wow, we’ve failed”, however yuri then has an idea “wait! I know what to do, bring polkadot” (yes in my head canon raven has a cat named polkadot) and raven is like “dad, what are you gonna do, the moth will kill her!!!” And yuri is like “no, trust me I had a cat when I was your age, they are good with this! Once, my Pyocha killed a bat and left it in my shoe. It was amazing and terrifying that my little girl could do that” and otabek is like “yura are you sure about what you are doing?” And he is like “yes, yes trust me on this one. Let’s give her an hour” and so they lock polkadot in raven’s room and the three of them just cuddle in the pillow fortress until an hour is past and when they check raven’s bedroom again they see polkadot sleeping in her bed with a giant moth dead on the floor. “I’ll bring the broom” says otabek and they are all happy again. And that is just another night in the altin-plisetsky family
