I’m starting a new series on vintage Pyrex patterns, and I’m gonna call it Pyrex Gals 😄
(Don’t worry I’ll still have Vegebul stuff)
Anyways, why Pyrex? I didn’t make the connection between Pyrex lab glassware and the baking glassware until I looked into the history of Corning 😂 So, me for the longest time: wow this Pyrex beaker is nice and well made. And then me after looking at their vintage mixing bowls: omg this was genius of them to market this glassware to consumers 😂
The first pattern I’m showing is the Snowflake pattern that was introduced in 1956. (There’s also another one called Snowflake Blue from 1972, not in pic). This pattern came in 3 combos: white on turquoise, turquoise on white, and white on charcoal.
