i wanna give positivity to tumblr user brenheir and morningstarlet because i love that tiny planet so much and she is such a joy to see on the dash and i am so happy to be mutuals with her. she is the biggest joy ever and all of the content she creates is so beautiful. i love how she takes these minor characters and turns them into such beautifully complex characters that i am always in awe with all of her content.

rey has more trouble adjusting to her new surroundings than she likes to admit.  as she was taught by the rough climate at jakku, not adapting is lethal, which is why she never bothered anyone with it        too scared it would seal her fate.  moreover, on jakku she learnt about the importance of willpower.  on new planets, she finds solace in the fauna and flora of a new planet, which help her adjust, as well as her willpower to keep going.

during her life on jakku, she was introduced to religion and important characters via datapads (stories saved on them) and through the spoken word of travellers, which always quickly reached the washing station.  due to this manner of communication, rey often knew other aspects about a topic/person as opposed to others (ex. she knew han as the smuggler, whilst finn confused him with the rebellion general).

eyebrows pluck upwards     ,     the king only having so much nerve to entertain american Intelligence units and what-not in a too heavy schedule of meetings and treaty signings and dinners and other long-winding and earth-shatteringly boring things that could drag on to a point where he wondered why he wanted to bear political footing in the first place .  the fox has learned the ways of correspondence and negotiations the roughest way possible    -    first on the battlefield and then on sea   -   and while he also knew to rely on his diplomatic strength the whole fiasco of coming and going and shaking hands and not saying anything concrete could get tiresome .  usually   ,   zoya and him made a game of roping the most inane stories out of people to then get them to agree to whatever they needed them to agree to    ,    and nine times out of then it worked .   usually    ,    king did most of this on his home soil and not in the middle of an fbi investigation .  

he has not slept in over twenty-four hours and all he wants is to get back to ravka    ,    to leave this country to its own nonsense since his country had enough nonsense for him to deal with .  but instead he is supposed to assist agent keen    -    smart    ,   capable   ,   something ravkan in her without her being from there at all    -    in helping finding the man who tried to shoot him at the embassy dinner two nights ago .   “ maybe you do .  maybe you just haven’t slept at all    ,    agent .   you wouldn’t be the only one .”  he comments charmingly in his heavy accent as he stands next to her    ,   tiredness clinging to him but still pushing forward with an immaculate appearance .  anything for appearance’s sake   ,   even if the country won’t thank him for it .   even if no one will thank him for it and he still was supposed to be dead if it would not have been for his outstanding security detail .   “maybe some people just want to see other people dead for no reason at all .  it happens .  war is a lot like that ,    you know? senseless order-fulfilling and trying to see a pattern where there’s none .  maybe this isn’t much different .  bad place and time   ,   agent   ,   that is hardly your fault .”

he   was   no   doctor   ,   far   from   it   ,   but   there   was   no   need   for   one   to   conclude   :   this   was   not   elizabeth’s   blood   .   (   had   she   seen   death   or   brought   it   ?   )   &   while   he   had   been   labelled   heartless   in   the   past   ,   he   was   not   -   if   he   deemed   it   unnecessary   .

but   even   aleksander   could   be   found   standing   in   a   cramped   bathroom   ,   carefully   wiping   away   smears   of   blood   ,   rubbing   at   the   dried   spots   .   there   was   so   much   of   it   ,   a   lesser   man   would   have   felt   his   stomach   churn   .

to   him   ,   it   was   one   way   to   spend   a   saturday   night   .
