A Fakemon based on the Australian Black Kite, which is alleged to start wildfires to flush prey out of hiding.
Now because Talonflame already exists and was super close in its influence (red kites and fire), I had to be careful how I executed this one. Fortunately I found that in the Kestrel, and in the Black Kite’s supposed arsonist behavior, along with some bird species’ habits of carrying materials at the base of their tails.
So Kembrel and its evolution Pyrigkite, they take sticks and store them at the base of their tails, waiting for them to dry out in order to be lit by their breast flames. Young Kembrel oftentimes grab sticks that are still too green, causing more smoke than fire. Smoke trails from their wings for reasons yet unknown.
