I love when a character gets their mental health completely obliterated by a traumatic event where they have lost the most important person in their life and are unable to process the grief they feel due to coping in a way that's neither considered normal or healthy and are now filled with guilt and self-loathing due to feeling responsible for that person's death despite being in a completely helpless situation where they were unable to stop it from happening in the first place.
