More samples! These 2 samples are green argillite with hematite smears caused my faulting. This was a cool find because we had several faults that split making two fault faces. This allowed for slabs of rock to slide off the ribs after blasting (slightly freaky when your tapping the ribs and a giant junk of rock smashes to the ground). Plus side it allowed me to get a double sided sample of this smearing. Extra cool points for the fact that the dip of the smears are slightly different on both sides! Its one thing learning about faulting from a lecture and textbook reading compared to being 6000 ft. plus below the surface looking at the real thing.
