Pycal looks up from his phone and stares at Rock's new get up. "Did you lose a bet?"
“What makes you think that?” He replied as he took a moment to adjust his hat.

“How curious…”
He always pegged Pycal as an oddball, but didn’t really think it went this far. The shelves of his study were crammed with spellbooks, and the counters cluttered with beakers and vials of strangely colored liquids. Potions, Rock had to presume, but did they really work?
Squinting, he carefully examined each until he found what appeared to be the least dangerous concoction there: A viscous, milky white mixture with a sweet scent. It reminded him of the kind of gooey cream you’d find inside french pastries, which must have made the next step easier.
Closing his eyes tight; he plugged his nose and chugged it down as quickly as he could. And then he waited.
And waited.
“Hm, nothing happened,” he chuckled to himself. “This guy’s a total hack.”
He went to leave, but just as he reached for the door it struck him. An overwhelming dizziness coupled with a knot in his chest. He desperately reached for the doorknob but couldn’t quite grasp it, and instead crumpled to the floor. His vision faded, and soon enough, his consciousness did as well.
It was hours later when he finally came to, though he certainly wouldn’t have been able to tell. What he did notice right away was just how much bigger everything seemed to be. The counters towered over him, and the doorknob seemed miles away. A shrinking spell perhaps? Rock had to think of a way out of this, but before he could even start the door had opened, and face to face with the grump of a man once more.

Pycal’s a pain in the ass, but Kenji finds this oddly appealing rather than infuriating. Perhaps he sees a little more of himself in the other man than he’d willingly admit in polite company.
