Can you tell me about the fire elemental?
Hey! Thanks for the question @wyked-ao3! I'll start with what an Elemental is, and then branch on the Fire Elemental and the capabilities of what he can do.
So an Elemental in terms of the story they're the head person with the powers and are the most advanced and has the most capabilities on how to use those powers. There's a variety of different types of Elementals, where you have fire, water, ground/earth, air, light and dark, and usually they have an island of their own to rule in and a stone to take care of which helps in providing balance while Spirit is in slumber.
There is also a lower class of it called Elementalists (which for some reason, the name seems to stick) where they have weaker powers, and don't have as much capabilities as the Elementals, and not all power types has Elementalist powers, at least currently.
But the Fire Elemental. At this point in time, the Fire Elemental is Magnus, he's the leader of Pyrocast Castle, and the King of Blazica (Which he owns a continent of it's own). The duties that he does is usually making sure that the Castle is running well, and making sure to give people regular updates as to the laws. But he also teaches people on how to use fire powers, and he usually gives them the capabilities to do it during those big events like new years when the crowds are big and lots of young children want to learn how to use those powers, he endorses and uses a chant and dance which grants them the ability to do it.
But granted, the crowds are big, and he usually does it a few days leading up to new years and the first day of the new year.
As of the sorts of powers he does, besides having the ability to give people who are interested in the powers the ability to use the magic, he can cast fire, but I am sure that he has also helped made some of his castle come together well, like heating up the glass and making sure that it sticks well together, and that the castle hasn't broken down. He also makes sure that the town isn't in disarray and gives frequent talks to people as to how the royals are handling themselves and having announcements as to what is to come.
