The Fool: Tell an embarrassing story.
My first day of the second semester of my seventh grade, I had walked into a math class and was super super happy to see a bunch of my friends in there (I had only made friends with eight graders that year) and didn't think anything was weird, until the teacher came in and asked me what I was doing there. I showed her my schedule and she told me that I had her for next period, I was supposed to go to History or something, and I was so embarrassed I skipped her class even though SHE KNEW I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE.
The Magician: Do you have a special talent?
The last time I went out to treat myself to a special lunch at a Japanese restaurant, I ordered a bunch of new things that were basically perfect, and the waitress told me I had a really good knowledge of pairing food together. I think that's pretty dang special.
The High Priestess: Are you good at keeping secrets?
YES AND NO. If you tell me a secret, I'll make sure not to spread it around but for most things, I'm just so gossipy and rambly when I'm on the phone, that I'll probably let it slip out to a really close friend at some point. Of course it never comes out to anyone who I don't trust enough to keep it but. Hm. :,I
The Empress: What do you desire most?
A HOUSE. Just a modest 900 sq foot home, 2 bedroom, one bath, with a car port at least or a garage that can be converted into a work room down the line, with a big enough yard that I can make a small 250 sq foot addition to live out of and rent out the main house until I accumulate a big enough savings to use the addition as a storeroom/office, in a predominantly Mexican neighborhood near family, accessible to freeways and at least three blocks away from any nearby railways. Not that I've... thought a lot about this. UuU
The Emperor: Do you have any family traditions?
The only one I can think of is opening presents on midnight Christmas Eve, and we treat it like birthday parties where, everybody watches and sees you open every individual present. Kids go first so they can go to sleep after.
The Hierophant: What is/was your favourite school subject?
It was my art classes, definitely the most useful to me, but thinking back on it, I was most fond of my French classes, particularly AP French my final two years where our classes were less than ten people and it was more of a club atmosphere where we focused on projects rather than strict lessons. It was the most fun I ever had in school.
The Lovers: What qualities would your ideal partner have?
Wistful sigh. My ideal partner would to be a good listener and compassionate, but I'm not just saying those things, I mean they have to be hardcore about it. Have a great memory for what I share or say with them, and make me feel like those things are important. They also have to be okay with DISTANCE, not necc physical or emotional, but be able to basically stand on their own as a person, have their own hobbies and friends without needing every aspect of our lives to perfectly intertwine. I don't want to be with someone because they NEED me, but because they WANT me and I want them in return. And also, touching! I love touching and kissing and I want to basically be able to curl up in their lap at any time possible, hold hands during embarrassing times and cuddle practically everywhere, that is all, goodbye.
The Chariot: Have you ever had to fight for something?
SO many things, and a lot of them are p depressing accounts, but I will share that I had to fight with my dad WHO ABHORRED CATS to allow me to keep one as a pet and joke's on him, he ended becoming a cat person over the dog person he supposedly was. UuU
Strength: What gives you strength?
My friends. Truly, truly, truly, I would not be alive today if it wasn't for the support and compassion of my friends. Knowing that there are people out there who care and support me gives me the ability to survive through every dark and dour point in my life. I smile and laugh every day because of my friends and that's not something I've always been lucky enough to do so thank you all! <3
The Hermit: Could you cope with living alone?
I'm sure I can! I will probably end up in a roommate situation when I move out next, but I'm eager to go out on my own and really make it self-sufficiently! '^')9
Wheel of Fortune: If you won a million pounds, what would you do with it?
A million pounds of what? wink, ba dum tsh-- No but really. Get that house, make repairs, pay off my car, fix up my mom's house, fund my brother's college fund and...! Buy a super expensive RVs that you can live out of that'll work as my art studio that I can use to travel around the country to visit friends and conventions on the regular. Then also use a portion of it as start up funds for a print press/merchandise that I can slowly build up to profit over the next two-three years while my living wages are secured by the supplemental income I'll get from rental of my house. UuU
Justice: If you could be a super hero (or villain) what would you call yourself and what powers would you have?
Okay this is really dumb but I would be the Penguin Punster and my thing would be to physical beat up people who are bullies and oppressors and then send the people they were harassing cards of encouragement that were littered with puns like, a picture of a safe and it opens up and it's a picture of them inside, because you know, the dude that was beating on them is now in the hospital and okay- it sounds like I'm some weird super villain but I'd be doing things for good, I swear. `^`
The Hanged Man: Would you sacrifice your own life to save someone else's?
Yes but it only depends on the life. I have before rather often sacrificed my health and livelihood for my loved ones already.
Death: If you were able to reincarnate, what would your next life be?
Temperance: Do you have good self control?
HA HA HA HARDLY. I can keep myself from doing things that are Objectively Wrong but I am seriously overindulgent with myself.
The Devil: What do you think your worst quality is?
The Tower: Describe your dream home.
DID I NOT JUST? I guess my ideal realistic home so let's do my ideal unrealistic home, shall we? UuU
Truth be told though, it wouldn't be about the house but the people who'd live there. I'd want an artist commune, one that very specifically is NOT reserved only for painters and visual artists, but also writers and costumers and designers alike! Every person would have their own bedroom, their own private space to hide away to but everything else would be communal, library, office space, studio, sewing room, theater, etc. We'd all be inclusive in each others projects and hobbies and learn from and inspire each other and just generally always feel welcome and appreciated for who we are! C:
The Star: What inspires you?
Ahh, ah, I'm RATHER EMBARRASSED TO SAY, because I've never really been aware of my inspirations but there is ONE PERSON who inspires me above all others, who's so creative themselves that it literally flabbergasts me how amazing they are, and wow man, I feel like I can do anything after talking to them! But now I'm gushing, really vaguely so uhm...
Music! Really lyrical music inspires me, especially from Sondre Lerche, but especially narrative songs from The Decemberists, Rilo Kiley, Belle and Sebastian, and the pAper chAse, which I know that last one doesn't fit the musical theme of the others but, they're my biggest inspiration for the current comic I've been developing. 8)
The Moon: Describe a dream (or nightmare) you've had recently.
I had a series of three nightmares last night: the first I can't remember but I had nearly gotten sick after waking up from it and had panic sweats so I know it was the worst, and yet in the second one, I was holding my younger brother in my arms as he stopped breathing, and in the third it was the most realistic one where I was trying to avoid an accident and was screamed at for being in the way and then directly after it robbed and laughed at for my pathetic possessions.
The Sun: Describe a childhood memory.
HAH THE SUN. So okay, when I was a kid I was such a nerd that I REALLY WANTED TO BE ABLE TO HAVE GLASSES, so I would sometimes look up at the sun to strain them. Well, I remember one time in particular, third grade, I was walking to school in the morning and it was overcast. And it was just the perfect layer of clouds that I could SEE DIRECTLY INTO IT and I remembered counting to past two minutes and my vision was really negative for a WHILE afterwards, I was so happy.
I didn't actually get glasses until I was in the seventh grade though.
Judgement: Have you ever done something that you were really ashamed of?
A lot. One thing that always stood out to me was the way I helped bully a girl in sixth grade, because all my friends were involved with that, and she was so humiliated by it that the one time we were alone together in the hallway, she had yelled at me and called me fat even though she was a lot larger than me and ran away crying, and that was the first time I ever realized that, wow, I actually made someone feel as hated and alone as I always felt myself.
The World: What country would you most like to visit?
Boring answer: Japan, because I want to buy so many things and eat so much great food and just take in the atmosphere of all those fun districts of Tokyo. But dang man, I haven't even had a chance to visit all over this country yet, that's gotta happen first!
