Maggie Byrde. She has the worst luck but seeing her break free from it is always great. Also her relationship with Gumshoe is cute.

Clay was one of the more annoying parts of that game to me because I saw how much the fandom loved him before I actually played and then it was like “no hes dead. just dead. nope no flashbacks only death”
The only flashback we ever get is through Apollo. Clay is all on Apollo and it doesn't even develop Apollo that well. It just shows he had a childhood outside of the orphanage, can show a depth of anger, and has a strong sense of seeking out the truth. That couple with his relationship with other characters is the best we got in DD.
We still have no clue about his connection to the Gramarye troupe, what that means for his future, and if he even knows if him and Trucy are really siblings.

I got up to like chapter 17 through cheating and then gave up
Was Chapter 17 the castle raid or was that Chapter 15? I remember one of them was this giant castle raid that had a very narrow room with 3 chests, all of the chests had good items. But had this really tricky archer + tank in waiting. I got the chests and killed both of them off without too many causalities. But I remember it took me a week to pull it off.
I shipped ZeLink because I hadn't played the games for awhile and thought it was canon because of faulty memory, but after actually playing games like OoT again I preferred some of the other ships. However in the end Link seems to be more like best bros with most characters rather than boyfriend material.
Yeah, that's my main problem with the ship. Link just doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would even want to get romantically involved with anyone. Most of the games he's thrust into a destiny he doesn't want or ask for only to leave, go back to his way of life, or go elsewhere by the time the game ends.
I think the only time I thought ZeLink was possible before now was in Spirit Tracks but only because I wondered what had happened to WW/PH!Link and Tetra and if the two of them ruled over New Hyrule together.

UHM the guy who makes you pay (I think) if you steal lantern oil/potions, the girl at the fishing lake, and the girl at the rapids!
That's Hena, Coro, and Iza then. Hena manages the fishing game, Iza does the rapids, and Coro gives you lantern oil. I was confused because I forgot Hena owns a pet parakeet and Coro practically surrounds himself with birds 24/7.
