Our Karma Yoga Project for Pasadena's Power Yoga Teacher Training was simple this year: bring items for hygiene kits, and pack them! Several of our Pasadena Teacher Trainees did their Karma Yoga Project at the Ronald McDonald House. We expected to help with gardening, and arts and crafts, but were pleasantly surprised that they wanted us to teach them Yoga! (duh). The TTers taught a modified C-1 to Spanish-speaking kids and parents, with the magnificent Paula doing the translation for us English speakers, and teaching her part of the sequence in Spanish. They all shined like diamonds, and the students were so happy and joyful in their movement!
