Hm, a plot for circus au... Kuroko is an orphan who hasn't had a very good time on the streets (there are people after him so he's constantly running away and moving towns, these people are the ones that killed his parents) and one day the circus comes to town and he decides to go to it and sneek in, but Akashi catches him, sees his appearance and asks him if he would like to join his circus (be he takes in orphans and people similar). Kuroko says yes, and is trained to do various things (1)

(i’m making this akkr i’m sorry) he is taught a lot b Akashi and they gradually get closer, which makes Kuroko want to tell Akashi about the people chasing him. BUT, the people find him before he does and they capture him so Akashi goes about getting him bck with the help of the circus people (bc everyone loves Kuroko now) and I’m not sure how to end it.. :’) but yeah, that’d be the basic start/middle to the plot! ^w^

OMG no, akkr makes everything better to me, but shipping aside, it’s bit tricky cause you want Kuroko to do acrobatics and aerial acts and realistically speaking (please forgive me but i’m trash for realistic and accurate details) it would take YEARS to be proper one, cause Akashi wouldn’t let half assed performance on main show, UNLESS! Get this, what if it wasn’t Akashi but his father (or mother if we keep their personalities as close to canon as possible) who took Kuroko in after he sneaked in, given that lets say they were pretty young, so Kuroko would actually have time to LEARN his act and he would get close to Akashi as they are both of similar age (?), But still Kuroko never learns to fully trust anyone with his secret, and while he was still to young for performing he helped around backstage and was safe, so when Akashi took over after his father (after whatever had happened to him, go figure,) and Kuroko started to act in main show did his past started to catch up with him, 

About others, some could actually be children of other troop members or just were invited by Akashi or any other way picked around, there really are too many possibilities on these ones, and while Kuroko still has his lack of presence and during training is hardly doing very well in main show he holds his grounds so yea, who could hate him tbh, 

okay, but about end, have you considered NOT happy ending? ^^
