Dapper and Leo are two very different types of rich kids.

Like Dapper wears noticably fancy outfits everyday and always has the latest tech and likes to show off his prized weapons his papa has given him. However he does have a certain level of humility and empathy for those less fortunate because his dad is always so willing and ready to help out other eggs.

Leo on the other hand wears branded atheleisure. She looks normal enough at first glance but the gucci slides and balenciaga backwards cap immediately give away that she comes from a family that has money to burn. Unlike Dapper she will laugh at others for being poor. Humility is not valued in the Gaymer-Gamers household thank you very much.

i started this drawing in fucking 2023, dude. holy shit. this file was created on october 11th, 2023. i was watching a philza stream where abuelito (the capybara) vine lasso'd foolish, who did it to fit, who did it to mouse, who did it to baghera, who did it to phil, and they just fucking took off flying. and at some point, phil decided to just open his phone and start fucking doing his duolingo. oh my god i remember laughing so fucking hard at this

but eventually, shortly after, the prison event started, and i thought, "this drawing is from something old now, nobody's gonna want to see it," so i abandoned it while it was half finished. i was pushing myself to work on it too, because i was really excited, and i thought the concept was cute (past me was right, this is cute as fuck).

that's not the reason i'm sentimental about it though.

one of my special interests is marine biology, especially sharks. so when i was trying to work out my design for foolish, i decided i wanted to give him traits for a specific shark species. not just a generic shark, no, i wanted to make him a specific kind. so, eventually, as i got thinking, i would eventually come up with the idea to make him a lemon shark. yellowish coloration, known to befriend divers and be friendly, makes friends in adolescence for mutual protection... pretty him, isn't it?

so, once i'd gotten those traits down (two dorsal fins of the same size, the tail structure, even the teeth, as best i could!) i rushed to philza's offline chat (PEGS CATKISS I LOVE YOU) to talk about it, because i was so excited and very proud of myself for the idea! and there, i'd meet another chatter who was equally excited about my idea, and who shared shark facts right back at me.

@unknowngalaxiess and i have been friends for coming up on two full years because of this drawing. holy shit what the fuck. that fucker has been a huge part of my life ever since we met and i consider it to be one of my closest friends. to uncover this drawing and give it a second chance at life, finishing it even though i didn't really have a reason to, made me so sentimental to look at art so old, and also to remember that this drawing is how i made one of the closest friends i have to date.

i am so fucking proud of this thing. god
