Do they feel like they've completed their "Journey"?
(( In his main verse, he's in a very comfortable point in his 'journey'. He has gotten to a comfortable place with his FTM gender transition, and he's married to his wife who is also trans and is happy in her gender transition. They've transitioned together for years, likely for the entirety of their marriage.
Columbo is probably quite comfortable with his own bisexuality, he's probably known about it for a long time. I think he and Mrs. Columbo were able to explore that openly together, them being a T4T couple would lend itself to that.
I think him being polyamorous is a newer venture for him. I think Mrs. Columbo began exploring that a bit quicker than Columbo did, but that's mostly because of how busy Columbo is with his job.
He's quite happy with where he is in his life, with his transition and his marriage and his ability to travel. He doesn't see himself as done with his 'journey' since he's still alive, as long as he's alive he's on that journey. ))
