im not a huge fan of bond retirement stories. but im enjoying the idea in an established 00q scenario where like bond who wants to keep working with q is like hmm what roles are open in q branch?

so bond gets training in design and becomes a human centred designer within q branch. hes like in house agent perspective for q branch designers/inventors/programmers/etc. creating agent personas and user workflows. helping to establish agent-centred protocols and designing the training for agent handlers. clarifying agent perspectives and priorities in field, etc.

he's joining at just a clerical assistant level but he's good at it and keeps working up the ladder and he's enjoying it.

and one day he wakes up and is like. "q im a manager. i do quarterly employee appraisals. who am i..." and q is like. "james you've been a manager for 5 years it's 3am. im going to sleep". bond is like "i left the sbs to avoid managerial responsibilities. you kinked me into being a manager. you used my dick to make me an office public servant. youre evil." and q is like "you've finally caught up with everyone else, love. go back to sleep" but bond just spends the next 24 hours like

So now I'm just going to Headcanon that if he was left powerless and took up residence permanently on the enterprise (not in the brig) he would 100% just be naked when not having to be around others. And his quarters are HIS so you're gonna drop by to say hey? Yeah that's fine but this is his House and he ain't gonna be putting on uncomfortable clothes just to make some silly humans comfortable.

Picard is obviously the one who learns of this first. Swings by to make sure Q is not up to anything odd and Q, always eager to see his Captain, obviously permits him entry. And now Picard steps into the room only to be greeted with the sight of Q standing before him fully naked. There's an exchange where Picard is wondering why tf Q answered if he wasn't proper and Q retorts that it's his comfort zone so deal with it or leave, obvs always welcome to make HIMSELF more comfortable as well. Picard leaves and makes a mental note that he needs to warn others before they go to Q and find the same way he did.

A thought what if one of the brothers holds MCs hands and all their love and strong emotions for MC results their child! Perhaps half demon half human?

As funny as imagining a child suddenly pop out of nowhere from hand-holding, I think that’s also pretty sweet-- that a gesture of love doesn’t have to big or necessarily meaningful for the brothers’ feelings for you to be strong enough to manifest into a new being. 

I really think it’d be cute if the child were half demon and human, but I think it’s more fitting for a demon to manifest another demon personally. I just don’t know where they’d get the half human part since it’s a child born from their magic.

STILL! I would imagine that the resulting demon born from the love of a demon for a human would most likely end up with features of both persons or even more like you, the person the brothers are in love with. It might be from preference? Not that I think Lucifer chose what Satan would look like (not that he chose to birth Satan at all...), but I think it would be highly romantic if the newborn child were to share features of the both of them because it’s a culmination of the love of two people OR look more like you because that’s who the love is for.

As a long-time lurker, I’ve seen so much praise lavished upon Buffy, Faith, Cordelia, Tara, Dawn, etc... and yet so much of what I’ve seen in content regarding Xander is just... not that. Now, I don’t believe that misandry is as worse as misogyny, but it’s definitely at play here, and it’s disappointing to see. Buffy and the other females are martyrs - Xander is a dirty scumbag that people wish death upon. There’s no sense of balance or objectivity. I hope this is just a phase, cooked up by some SJW warriors with maybe some good intentions, but it’s mutated into such ugly hate. Buffy isn’t perfect. Can we get some perspective here, please?

so idk abt yall but im ngl it lowkey annoys me when people are give q names that start with q in verses where he's not the quartermaster yet. idk im just a hater. this is to say i think it's way funnier if his name is kew. esp like. if he grew up in the sort of boarding school context where being called by ur last name is more common. or maybe he has a super common first name so everyone just called him kew growing up. and then it became q at some point. or maybe it doesnt even become q, he's introducing himself as kew but people hear q.

and maybe then when he joins mi6 its confusing for ppl to call him kew and so he goes by his first name for the first time in his life since he was 5. and does naught enjoy it at all. until he gets the promotion to quartermaster and hes like finally i can go by my name again.

or maybe its a verse where he joins mi6 as quartermaster from 5 or a dif british intelligence agency so he starts and is like i'm kew and people are like yeah we know youre q. and hes like oh ok didnt kno there was a big announcement. cool :) and then he gets closer to ppl and makes friends and people are like "ok dude why are u so secretive abt ur name. major boothroyd never was" and q is like wtf do u mean? i guess u could call me Dr Kew but that's kind of unnecessary...? and everyone is like ok we get u care abt opsec but this is getting ridiculous

@halfbaked00q sent me this post and i was like. this feels like what bond thinks q thinks sex is. i think its very funny to have bond think q is a nerdy geeky virgin who thinks star trek roleplay is the height of outré sex. and dont get q wrong he would be down for some star trek roleplay but james takes him home and gets surprised when q goes "cool wanna fuck?" bond is constantly amazed like "wow q u can put a condom on so well." q is like "what the fuck are you talking about????" james is like "wow q must be the type of anal retentive guy who jerks off into a condom to reduce mess. thats so sweet."

& i think q IS nerdy and geeky and dorky. bond isn't wrong about that and q is fine and comfortable with that. he does watch the dr who christmas special religiously. he's read every dune book even all the dogshit ones. however he is also like. an adult man confident in his sexuality. he's had lots of normie sexual experiences and a LOT of dorky ones, that probably get freakier than stuff bond's done, at least in some ways. he has his monster dildos on display on a floating shelf in his bedroom as art objects (that he also uses). q has a long running erotic dnd game he dms. q is the type of guy to go to comic con and participate in cosplay orgies. and bond thinks like. he would overwhelm q if he put on a han solo jacket

so if bond ever expresses his surprise at q's sexual experience hes's gonna be like "mate you do not know what goes down in the q branch server rooms. that's all im gonna say".
