[Missha] - The Style Fitting Wear Powder Pact
[Missha] – The Style Fitting Wear Powder Pact
As someone with combo skin, with a particularly oily T Zone, remaining shine free throughout the day is a unicorn goal. So when Q-Depot reached out to me and asked if I wanted to review a powder compact, which promised a silky (not oily) finish I leapt at the chance. The Missha style fitting wear powder pact is recommended for those looking for a light product, which results in a mattifying look.…

Hello my K-BEAUTY LOVERS! Here's my review on a product from a new brand called J'ERS! This is their J:DEW GREEN MOIST EMULSION! I really recommend it for dry and/or sensitive skin types! It's main featured ingredients are aloe vera, green tea, and broccoli from the clean soils of Jeju Island. Great for soothing, combating redness, skin repair, and moisture! Even though it's an emulsion (the lighter of the moisturizing types) it sure does a great job! Check it out here on Q-Depot: http://www.q-depot.com/jdew-green-moist-emulsion?tracking=56d4fc2a1737a
Tony Moly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack Review
I know that this product has been in the market for a long time and I myself, have already used this product back in 2011 even before I got very much into blogging. Though I wasn’t able to use it all up back then coz I brought this with me to a travel and i lost it.
So after 5 years, we have been reunited because Q-depot, a Korean Cosmetics Online Shop, sent me a couple of Korean skin care products in the mail - including the TonyMoly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack.
This mask pack is meant to free your skin from impurities in order to reveal brighter and more even complexion. It contains pure tomato extract (which we all know, has exceptional skin-brightening properties) and sunflower seed extract that help replenish moisture in the skin.
So once you take the tomato lid off, the first thing to greet you is its invigorating fruity scent. It smells really good and it really gives the impression of giving you a relaxing skincare treat for its aroma therapeutic scent. Oh - and it comes with a cute mini spatula too! You know, for germ freaks out there like me.
TEXTURE/CONSISTENCY:
The mask pack has a really thick and creamy consistency. I admit it kinda requires some effort for me to fully spread it evenly all over my face. I had to use my mask brush to spread it and avoid all the mess. haha!
HOW TO USE:
Spread evenly on the face, avoiding the eye and lip area.
Massage it onto your skin for 1 to 2 minutes.
Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes.
Rinse off with lukewarm water.
MY THOUGHTS:
I have tried so many mask packs already and I have to admit that the Tomatox pack isn’t one of my favorites. I have very sensitive skin and there are times that it would really sting. I couldn’t let it sit on my skin for more than 1 minute. But then my skin is really hard to understand, there are times that I use this and it’s just fine.
I also don’t like the fact that it’s so hard to wash off. I really need to rub it off my skin for it to come off.
As for its whitening effect, it does whiten the skin. The results are quite visible just right after one usage. I’ve heard and read several reviews about this and it actually worked really well for some. One of my Korean students loves this and her skin looks really fair and rosy. As for me, I did see the brightening effects but I have to stop using it because it really stings and it just doesn’t feel right.
Here’s another Tony Moly product that Q-depot sent me. This one, I love! You guys know how obsessed I am with face mists and this Pocket Bunny really loves my skin. Will do a separate review on this and link it here!

[REVIEW] Tony Moly Water Bomb Sleeping Pack ft. Qdepot
Sleeping packs are great for lazies like me. I have a ton of sheet masks but putting them on can be a bit of a hassle. Qdepot kindly sent this Tony Moly Water Bomb Sleeping Pack for review recently. The timing was perfect as the weather here in Vancouver has been extremely dry in the last few weeks! Qdepot is a large online Korean cosmetics retailer that carries popular brands such as Banila Co, Tony Moly, Missha and many others! They offer free worldwide shipping for orders over $69 USD or a low rate starting from $2.99. The consistency is slightly thicker than gel but not quite a cream either. The first time I used this as an actual sleeping pack - so it was applied as the last step of skin care. I found that it absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave any sticky film behind (a common downside for sleeping packs). I didn't have to worry about my face sticking to the pillow as I slept. That being said, I don't feel like this is moisturizing enough to be an overnight sleep pack. The product seems to absorb/partially evaporate (?) within minutes and there's nothing left on my face. However, the skin does feel smoother and plumper immediately. That being said, this product can be used before applying make up because of the immediate moisture boost without any sticky residue. Apply a thin layer before foundation/bb cream for a smooth finish. Overall: 4/5 - Effective, almost instant results - No sticky residue - Can be used before make up as a moisture booster/base - Not quite moisturizing enough as an overnight treatment *This is a sponsored review but all comments and opinions 100% honest and unaffected by the fact that the product is being provided free of cost Find me on Facebook | Instagram | Tumblr http://dlvr.it/BnS18q
My First Experience With Q-Depot, the Mecca of Online K-beauty Shopping
Today I'm raving about Q-Depot, a new K-beauty site. Have a look at my rave review of their yummy products here >>
A little while ago, a new Korean beauty store called Q-Depotcontacted me to review a few products from their website. I’d never heard of them before, but Shah (their representative) was lovely and I always love to support newcomers! Plus, who can say no to Korean beauty products?! (Not I, that’s for darn sure.) I waited for my package to arrive, and although the Malaysian post tried to thwart my…
