you introduced albedo to this gem of a song, and ever since then he had always associated it with you. he enjoys the simple yet layered melody, and leaves it playing in the background as he tinkers around his workshop, claiming it improves his work ethic. sometimes, if you visit albedo in peaceful dragonspine long after night has blanketed the sky, and he isn't exhausted after his day's work, he'll put on this song and pull you into a grand ballroom dance. his alchemist's mind easily imagines scenarios with the two of you at a masquerade or dancing your way to the stars. with his arms enveloping you and guiding you through the steps he can't remember where he learned, albedo thinks that perhaps just laughing and stumbling around his base is already perfect.

outrider amber, reporting for duty, along with... her sidekick?! amber plays this song whenever she feels she needs that extra boost of motivation, because its cheerful tune and encouraging lyrics are always exactly what she needs to hear. amber gets so excited after listening to it that she'll pull you around mondstadt in its entirety and help as many people as she can, leaving the citizens to wonder how on earth she seems to have a never-ending stock of energy. you merely smile at their surprise, for you love amber just the way she is, although you do have to stop her when she actually tries gliding to the moon.
barbara.

as mondstadt's number 1 (albeit only) idol, barbara has a large range of songs memorised under her belt. no matter what, renai circulation remains the one that stands out to her the most. barbara still recalls the hours upon hours she spent memorising the lyrics, and singing them alone in her room till she had got it perfect, not to mention combining them with the choreography. it was worth it, though, to see the happiness gracing everybody's features after barbara's first time performing, especially since jean herself complimented barbara and claimed it had cheered the acting grand master up, giving her the strength to return to her mountain of work. however, barbara thinks the best part of that day was running into your arms after, and listening to your genuine praise as you hug her.
bennett.

bennett is definitely one of the kindest people you know, and you're forever grateful you got to meet him. even with the misfortune that follows in his wake, he remains constantly optimistic, never allowing himself to get down in the dumps. you're a member of benny's adventure team, and even as chaos occurs wherever you go, you stick by his side. guilt threatens to overwhelm bennett when you get injured supposedly because of his bad luck, and the one time he tried to convince you to leave for your own safety, you told him 'no way' and instead introduced him to this song, which quickly became his ultimate favourite. bennett listens to it whenever he feels down in the dumps about his curse of bad luck, but he recovers soon enough, because he knows he isn't alone anymore - you're there for him, and you always help him feel far more than just okay.

diluc ragnvindr closed himself off after the death of his father, distancing himself from everyone he cared for, swearing he would never love again for fear of losing them. his only reason to keep existing was to protect mondstadt, to defend his hometown from the evil fatui and treasure hoarders and whichever troublemakers dared to even think of harming the city of freedom. but things changed when diluc met you, it was as if his eyes were opened to an entirely new world. suddenly his life fills with colour again, and being with you turns the saturation everywhere a million times brighter and more vibrant. his heart slowly begins to heal, and when he clutches your hand tight as you laugh, pulling him through the vineyards with this song blaring from the phone in your pocket, diluc knows for certain that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, and as the lyrics in the song say, he 'can't wait to kiss you each morning'.

omg this post is me trying to be original,,, and i think its a v cute concept so i will be continuing it with every genshin character hehe
i promise i'll finish my requests eventually tho HAHA,,, but i'd prefer to do them at my own pace so i don't get burned out or anything lol
also yes this is my grand return post after my 2 or 3 day break idk how long it was but i missed tumblr and everyone on it !
