I'm sitting here watching the videos some of you kindly uploaded from the QaF con and crying my eyes out. This show really did change my life- it opened my eyes to new possibilities, and sparked the change in me to find my identity (sexual and otherwise- and even though I'm still searching, I'm happier than ever before). It showed me a whole different way of life that I'd never seen embraced so welcomingly before. I'm so grateful to the perfect cast (and crew) for making that possible- and to this fandom for being one of the most warm, familial ones I've known, who don't discriminate based on anything but love versus hate, just like this incredible show taught us.
Everything is QaF and everything hurts
I have so many feelings to deal with right now, I don't even know where to start.
First of all, I wanna thank Eva, McLaren, Betty, Shirin and Pauline for a wonderful weekend. You were the best thing on this weekend, and I'm not lying!
Then I have to say that the fandom surprised me greatly. We all were (for the most part...let's forget about the "Justin" incident) very respectful with the cast. I think we showed them how much we really care about them, how much we respect their work and how deeply this show and their roles in it affected us all.
And last, but not least, I wanna say to all of you that couldn't make it, that I really felt you there with us. So, Hillary, Mary, Rafa, Ria, Alice, Kitch, Chelsey, Marina, Janna, Laurel, Roni, Jenny, Analia and so, so many others, I wish you had been there, but I was kinda taking you with me!
And of course, A BIG THANK YOU to the cast, for being fucking awesome and proffesional as hell! You were ALL adorable and made me feel ALL OF THE FEELINGS!
