What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?

I saw Wake Up Dead Man and now I’m very confused about the order of my favorite Benoit Blanc mysteries. Also it renewed my desire for a murder mystery birthday party where I get to be the victim so I can nap on the floor while everyone tries to solve the crime around me

do you play or follow any sports? & elaborate on that?

I used to be absolutely obsessed with figure skating as a kid, because I wanted to be one (alas, I was poor and lacked the necessary coordination/vision). I still love watching it though, but I’m ashamed to say I’m not up to date on any of the current athletes in the sport. Other sports I am at least vaguely aware of are football (either definition), hockey, and basketball.

what's something you learned recently?

I’m trying to think of something that I learned about myself or something philosophical, but in 2025 I just kind of stayed alive and that’s it. Maybe I’ll experience a useful life lesson in 2026.

WAIT!! I learned that alligators will accept marshmallows as payment for interacting with humans.

from a day-to-day aspect, YES, very much so. there’s a lot in my life (especially recently) that i’m very lucky for, and it really makes a difference in my overall demeanor and how i respond to more stressful situations. in terms of the big picture? probably not as much as i’d like to be, but that’s just because i have a very fantastical mindset. and mental illness.

saturn: what do you think about before falling asleep?

IT’S ALWAYS ONE EXTREME OR ANOTHER!!! sometimes my mind wanders Too Far™ and my anxiety keeps me awake until the sunrise hours but sometimes it’s just super chill. it probably is very obvious from my posts but most recently i am always thinking about the 80s, especially before falling asleep

tough question. i think i’ve come a long way from who i was when i first joined this site eight years ago (two years, even), but at the same time people are always changing and growing. so hopefully i’ll be someone who, down the road, is still ok with how i am in this moment but even more happy with myself then. if that makes sense

galaxy: are you a sun, moon or star person?

aw geez. oh boy. oh man. i love them all when i see them. do i have to pick? i’ll say moon today. ask again tomorrow.

milky way: do you prefer math or humanities?

i’m not gonna lie lmao. i love math because i understand it and feel a great amount of satisfaction from solving a problem, but i also love observing human behaviour and how it’s changed and how it absolutely has not. humans are scarier, though.

betelguise: what’s something that calms you down when you’re upset?

knitting/crocheting, turning on music (the movement of putting on records is actually really nice????), mindlessly watching the autoplay on youtube, and talking to my friends are all pretty useful for me. i also have a long-standing habit of turning on bob’s burgers when i’m feeling anxious.

solar system: if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

right this moment i’m feeling like someplace with both a modern and super historical feel like the london area or rome, but i’ve also considered sweden and scotland. and iceland.

autumn and i are hoping to get matching sibling tattoos of our astrological constellations this year! we want to sort of put the same proportionate distance between ours as they are in the sky, or as close as possible.

also, i’ve been on and off about putting a forster quote somewhere on me we’ll see

hmmm i have a nose piercing already but i’ve considered eyebrow, cartilage, and industrial so far. i don’t really know if i want any of them just yet
