Preparing a 6-hour workshop for this weekend on the #QasidaBurda, at Dar Al-Rahma in Detroit, a Burda Intensive. Totally geeked out at something amazing and cool that I've just learnt: This epic ode of love was translated into Chinese, titled "天方詩經" (Tiānfāng shījīng), which stands as a poetic work of art in its own right. An absolute joy to spend a few sessions with bright and eager kids and teach them the Qasida Burda. This was in my second last session with them yesterday, and I was having *so* much fun! . Sad that my last session with them is later this week. Happy that they have something that they can insha’Allah pass on to their children. . May God make their praising of His Beloved (ﷺ) become a merciful and gentle means for them to become among the foremost of those beloved to Him (ﷻ). .
