Hi, I have a question. I recently acquired a California Glossy Snake. I know nothing about snakes besides that like any animal they need food and plenty of water. Snakes need heat, some hiding places, as well as a large enough tank. I know it is non-poisonous, nocturnal, eats lizards and small mammals. What would you say is important that I know about keeping and handling snakes?

There is a ton more than that friend! Each individual species of snake has very specific heating and humidity requirements, cage size requirements, they need enrichment and hides, etc. What I recommend you do is find someone who owns one, and ask them for some pointers and a care sheet :) That will make it a lot easier in the long run!

I need advice. I recently got married, which is fine, but my Husband's family is of a different culture that has huge ceremonies that last for a couple of days. I have bad social anxiety and sensory overload, which one often sets off the other and I turn into a mess. My husband's parents wanted to throw a reception party, which was fine at the time, but they have invited over 200 people, all but about 15 are strangers to me. I have anxiety attacks just talking about it. How can I survive it?

Hm, what about scheduling spaces in between the party’s segments? Like, speeches, dancing, cake, food. That way you can “refresh your look” or what have you, and you can go spend like, 15 minutes letting yourself breathe.

Um, could I ask what's going on with Arin? Why are people mad? I'm a lost?

People are mad because Arin referenced to an old animation of his where he used the n-word, and his mentioning it was spoken casually enough to make people think that he doesn’t mind using it still, whether he realizes or not that it was/is/will always be inappropriate, being white. Dan also said that he didn’t want to be recorded saying it, because he was afraid people would take it out of context (dan was referencing a comedian’s joke, which is how the whole conversation started). Overall, people are just concerned with Arin’s (and possibly Dan’s) use of language here, or the casualty of how they use it. Here’s the video with the timestamp, if you care to watch it.

Well, I did show up for a little bit towards the end, but not for long. My family took me out for dinner and that's pretty much it

Aw, thank you! Tbh I picture all my favorite characters as screwed up monsters and not, in fact, resembling human things like the original source.

mine would be really hard to animate but if i came across them in a dark alleyway, i would give them a thumbs-up and maybe kiss
