☆~*HETAMOÉ’S STATUS UPDATE FOR SPRING 2015*~☆
I’ve been falling behind on my New Year’s resolution for weekly Tumblr updates in 2015, but it’s all for a good cause! That’s because me and Clube do Inferno have been busy these last couple of months and have lots of new things happening. So I’ve decided to let you guys know all about what we’ve been up to!
This is a bit of old news, but CLUBE DO INFERNO NOW HAS AN OFFICIAL WEBSITE! It’s all clean and stylish and beautiful (thanks to astromanta’s godsent WordPress skills). You can browse through our zines, shows, prints, books, and even a useful list of stores where you can find our zines. Or, of course, you can just buy it all online! (;
Since we now have our own shiny website, we’ve made some drastic changes to clubedoinferno‘s Tumblr. Expect frequent updates on Clube do Inferno’s activities and mad reblogs of art we love and admire. It’s guaranteed to make your dashboard look pretty, so why not check it out and follow us??
Clube do Inferno has some great new releases ready for this Spring! One is OUR VERY FIRST BOOK. We’ve worked so hard for it and are very, VERY proud. It’s part of Chili Com Carne’s giant-sized comic book series QCDA (you might remember the previous issues, #1000 and #2000). The name is QCDI 3000 – FEAR OF A CAPITALIST PLANET, and will be released this weekend at Beja’s Comic Festival. Stay tuned to Clube do Inferno’s Facebook and Tumblr for more news and cute teaser videos!
The other new release is for the Portuguese-speaking crowd and it’s called MAGA. It’s a collection of texts about comics and related matters by members of Clube do Inferno with some wonderful guests, including book design and a text by Panda Gordo, a text by Marcos Farrajota (Chili Com Carne) with illustrations by criticasfelinas, and an interview with artist Tiago Baptista from Façam Fanzines e Cuspam Martelos! W-o-w!
Speaking of cool people, there’s a fresh book out of the oven for which I’ve contributed with a short comic alongside some amazing friends: imvencible, amanda-baeza, sofiacoreneto and rurucomix. The name’s Malmö Kebab Party - the adorable cover and book design are by Rudolfo - and it’s about our trip to the AltCom comics festival in Malmö, Sweden. Be sure to check it out!
And by the way, I will also be participating in a forthcoming issue of the comics anthology š! by kushkomikss. I’m super excited and honored about it, so expect some spamming on this subject in the near future! :333
Finally, I’ve been getting a lot of new followers and nice comments lately, so thanks everyone for their support! Special thanks to misconceptionsaboutquiffing, skate-boards-of-canada, antarctica-ines and chishev for making my inbox a better place with their kind words ♥ I hope you all continue to enjoy my work from now on!
And that’s it! Thanks for bearing through the long post! ^3^
