1) this is a shoutout to bambi, @qceenbambi, someone i absolutely adore!!!  i’m going to admit, i only found out about margo when we first followed each other and interacted with each other, but i love her so much!!!!  i think she’s such a delight and i absolutely love how rapunzel and margo get along soooooo well!!!  i get so excited whenever i see you on the dash, tbh, and you’re just the sweetest ever and i hope you remember that!!!

2) this next one goes out to mah gurl tea!!!  @thieveskingdom, i know it’s still been quite a short time ( maybe a year????  less than still?????  time is an ILLUSION ) but i’ve honestly decided that the fates needed us to meet because we’re like, one in the same.  you are so amazing in every single way!!!!  i’ve made it my new life mission to interact with each and every single one of your characters, because they’re all so amazing, and so well written.  and not to mention, the fates brought us together because our backstories for flynn & rapunzel were, basically, the same!!!!  it was honestly so meant to be.  and you’re just the best, you always brighten my day and my heart gets SO EXCITED when i see your icon!!!!! ilysm.

3) this next one’s for keiliy!!!  @coronaslight, you have always been such a pleasure to have on my dash, and i remember writing with you on your flynn and ella blogs, and i’ve always loved them!!!  and you!!!!!  you are honestly such an amazing person, and i absolutely love talking to you and writing with you and, like tea, i’ve made it my life mission to interact with each and every one of your characters too because they’re all so amazing and you’re so amazing and how could i not show love to the amazingness???? i seriously, hands down, without a doubt adore you to pieces.

The Quiet Before the Storm || Margo + Alice

Alice was exhausted after days of traveling just to be greeted by the news that they were given made her weary. She was already looking forward to the time she could go back home, even as beautiful as the King’s palace was, it was not home. She did not feel comfortable here and she did not know if that was because of the people, the place, or the strangeness surrounding everyone and everything.

She had followed Margo back to her suite of rooms, someone had assigned their suites to be next to each other. Upon having heard that a small smile came to Alice’s face as she made her way through the palace.

A chat before bed had been suggested and she had agreed readily -- even though she was tired -- as she wanted to spend as much time here with Margo as she could. It was impossible to know when she would see the warrior princess again.

Alice dismissed her guards before entering the woman’s room and they had no complaints. She assumed they would stick by but she did not need them in the room while she and Margo spoke to each other. The noise was quieting down as people made their way to their rooms and went to sleep. The unfamiliar place made her shiver despite the warmth of the water.

She looked over to Margo once she had entered the room and gave her a small smile. “I am so glad that meeting is over, I know there is more to come but I hope it means that we are closer to figuring it out.” She sat on one of the seats in the room, big enough for the other to join her if she so wished. “I feel so wound up, and this place is so different from home.”
