One of my favorite cafes: Satchmi
If there’s something you should know about me, I am a fan of anything vintage. This cafe called Satchmi is composed of things that I love, all rolled into one.
Satchmi has two branches already. There is one in Megamall and another one in UP Town Center. Since I live closer to UP Town, it’s one of my go-to malls. This post will be about the latter branch.
If you need a quiet place to work, this cafe is highly-recommended since it’s not as jam-packed as your local Starbucks, Bo’s, or Coffee Bean.
When I was still in college, this is where I work on my thesis. Even now that I already graduated, Satchmi is still my favorite hideout when I need to work on something, read a book, or just have coffee.
What I adore about this cafe is their playlist! I always enjoy listening to the songs and I keep on shazaming unfamiliar songs in hopes that I will find them in Spotify. I swear, their playlists do not disappoint.
You can also look around because they sell vinyls (even players!) and there are also other merchandise like watches and other vintage stuff.
On the subject of drinks: We already know that the place is instagrammable plus the ambiance is very homey. But I would also want to talk about their hot chocolate!!!! They have the perfect blend of milk chocolate. Give it a shot! It’s one of my favorites.
I highly recommend this cafe! So if you happen to be in the area, it’s located right below the cinemas. Hang out here, listen to music, have a cup of warm coffee or cocoa, and I hope you fall in love with this place as much as I did.
PS: If you’re a fan of BP Valenzuela, she used to work as a barista at Satchmi. I’m not sure if she still does.
