♛ ———— ❝ It really did, didn’t it ?! ❞ RIGHT AFTER, A WAVE OF LAUGHTER assaults the young child, making her almost breathless. always one to never say no to some good adventuring ( never really concerned about the consequences ), Kairi takes an immeasurable amount of joy on the tranquil moments that follow the rather mischievous events of the evening. quite honestly, if ever asked to, prior to that day, the girl would never say that taking five pictures to their favorite areas would ever turn out to be that difficult. it all started off as nothing but a simple challenge to the boy. something physical she’d like to keep with her at all times … before both of them noticed, it turned out to be a competition. only the finest pictures would get to be shared with the entire world. they would be re-lived. again & again. memories are supposed to work like that. after all … soon, it would all be gone. in the blink of an eye. it was best to create these special moments before she ran out of time, correct ?
& so what if they had been running away from wild beasts most of the day ? on the other hand, they did get the chance to ride their chocobos around town !! it was ( without even the slightest trace of doubt ) a day that not even the Gods could erase from her mind. in the end, her heart had always proved itself to be the strongest. to survive the manipulation, the pain & misery they all tried to put her through. the ever-growing brand that adorned her wrist was proof of just that.
that’s just one of the many reasons as to why she’s smiling. widely. brilliantly !! as night comes, it’s only logical daemons would crawl from the darkest areas. however, & as soon as they got close to the camping area ( where they can rest, safe from all trouble from the outside world ), Kairi reaches out her petite hand & reaches to grab Prompto’s. ❝ Thank you for coming along with me today !! I’ve had so much fun !! ❞ there’s an unending sense of gratitude in her words. she’s contented. more than she could ever let him know. words would never do justice to how grand her feelings were.
