Hey guys. Don't whitewash Isolde from King of Battle and Blood PLEASEEEEEEEEEE
Ok so so so
The thing about KOBAB and QOMAM is. Aside from the amazing premise even if the delivery is... underwhelming and the Black protagonist. I love the low-key villain arc?
Adrian and Isolde really said "getting revenge makes us just as bad as the people who wronged us? Awesome we suffered too much so let's be the most powerful people around" and it's FUN. Don't get me wrong, they care about people to some degree. But ultimately what they want is power and they will murder any and everyone who gets in their way. Scarlett St. Clair literally said on tiktok that writing Adrian's POV is hard because he's NOT morally gray but straight up evil. This is Isolde's corruption arc! They are the villains! And it's so fun lol

I DID NOT create this but rather found this on Scarlett St. Clair's Pinterest board titled "My books."
