i think smt that defines their qpr is like. th concept of being alone together. sonic likes just chilling out n not having to be around others, knux isnt a people person and is used to being isolated. angel island & its archipelago are more than big enough for the both of em (even tho knux usually insists sonic stay around the places knux already knows so it cant get an advantage over him) so they can be close enough to know the others there while never rlly having to interact if they dont wanna
i think they do a lot of rlly sweet mushy stuff but not like super frequently. less kisses and more....i guess id say survival-orientated stuff like cleaning each other or cooking / foraging for one another. but cutes
think sonic calls knux pet names but w the same bite as when it calls knux "knucklehead". please imagine it calling knux its moon its wind its everything W a shit eating grin on its face. ty.
