The Sword of Destruction needing to be convinced is an interesting prospect. Jinn and Ambrosia are both massive beings, so what if the Sword is a small, rebellious child? People THINK they can force the child around but that could end in their own destruction?

now i'm just imagining a child who looks like they're about to agree to whatever it is that is being asked of them, but then last second they go "NOPE! :D", much to the chagrin of the relic's current user.

they could also have that childlike sense of wonder where they just appreciate everything, and they'd actually be reluctant to destroy all these beautiful creations, hence the convincing.

Food and Lodging prices have probably been climbing since then and it’d be better not to get caught on the backfoot in a place like that.” Qrow was still thinking about Ruby and Yang. How the hell would he look Taiyang in the eye after all of this? How would he tell them they died when a floating city collapsed into the ground and flooded? Then there was the colossal hangover waiting for him if they couldn’t find alcohol when they landed, the fact that He and Glynda were now the only people alive who had any idea how to stop Salem, and even finding Ozpin… again.

A strong shot of Bourbon sounded like heaven right about now, even if he was trying to focus more on Robyn and the Ace Ops currently.

Robyn peers up, scrutinizing Qrow with squinted eyes. She tries not to be too tough on him, considering all he’s been through, all the uncertainty he’s dealing with right now - worried about his nieces just like she is about her huntresses, (though apparently less confident in their competence), but he seems... off.

“Of course we’ll do what we can, but we could stock this ship to the brim with supplies and still be left wanting for thousands of refugees. Our best bet is going to be leveraging the more local resources. We’re going to be starting from the red whether we like it or not.”

She’d seen about ten different sides of this man in the span of 48 hours, but none of them so defeated as he looked now. Like a dead fish just flopping around, choking on oxygen as its own physiology betrays. 

“...Maybe you should get some rest and let me and Marrow plan out the rations.”

If this was the first time she’d heard that he was lingering, she may not have been as concerned and would likely have sent him away with a warning. Now though, however? It was an entirely different matter. She made sure Cerberus Whip was on her hip for easy access and went to investigate. She knew it probably wasn’t safe to go alone, but she had confidence that if she was careful she would be just fine.

Send ✚ for one of my muse’s prized possessions.

His lucky pin and Kingfisher are the only prized possessions he has because Clover has made those items himself. They are made by his design, his labor and craft, and they’re the most valuable things to him because of sentimental reasons.

The pin is more than just his emblem. He uses it to focus his semblance and semblances come from the soul so quite literally Clover’s soul’s essence passes through that pin. It’s more than an emblem or a lucky pin. It’s almost a fragment of his soul and if he were to lost it? Be taken from him? Broken? I don’t want to think about it.

Kingfisher is a different story. It was designed to be nonlethal and provide support, it’s designed how Clover wants to be as a huntsman and how he wants to help people. Fishing poles catch things, he wants to catch the bad guys and put them away. That’s it. A lot of people have encouraged Clover to upgrade his weapon to be a gun or change it to be lethal and he’s denied them all. Kingfisher is the only example of Clover being adamant about “this is what I want/my choice” and I think if he’s using anything besides Kingfisher essentially he’s changed. That’s his weapon, an extension of who he is and without it or it’s lost, he is too.

Qrow: He is a cookie-maniac. He is. He is!

Ruby: Quit your screaming. He is right by the way. When he interrogates someone, he eats cookies. When he is in a happy mood, he eats cookies. He always eat cookies. One has to wonder how he looks pefectly fit & not feeling sick.

Ozpin: You are right but i eat only a few cookies, lets say two or three. Eat them slowly & save the rest for some other time. They are made from 100% natural ingredients. I also don't eat junk-food like you youngsters or drink madly like that man over here.

Ruby: Oscar & I feel a bit insulted.

Oscar(scratching his head): Well, i rarely eat junk-food.

Ruby: So, i am alone.

Qrow: Why do you all always talk about my drinking habits & not something else? Why you all cannot be like James over here.

Ironwood: First of all. What the hell am i doing over here? Secondly, don't call me James. Only my friends call me James & you are not my friend. Third & last, drinking madly like how you do is not good for health & will turn anyone into a lunatic.

Qrow: You care about me?

Ironwood: Like hell i do!
